It's Bergen, Baby.
Norway at last. Loved the UK and all, but four days in one place can be daunting. Tour is all about motion, and sitting still makes me restless. I already miss the Sub Popians who came along and kept us entertained. They also graciously lent their massive muscles and helped carry our gear around. Thank you! The shows in London went well. We played the new songs, which are the most fun to do. This band has never been about one thing, one idea, so it's good to feel like we're covering new ground; breaking apart elements that used to cohere. Now we are in Bergen; arrived this afternoon. We took a tram up the hill, looked out over this magnificent place, breathed in the air, ate a huge meal; maybe I'll finally sleep. Tomorrow we hope to tear the roof off The Garage; create noise that tears and punctures. Then we fly home. Can't wait. -Carrie
